Public Transport to Sagay Marine Reserve
FROM BACOLOD CITY
1. Bus to Sagay City:
Proceed to the North Ceres Bus Terminal in Bacolod City.
Board a Ceres Liner bus bound for Sagay City. Air-conditioned buses are available, with fares around PHP 127 and a travel time of approximately 2 hours.
2. Tricycle to Old Sagay Port:
Upon arrival at the Sagay City Bus Terminal, take a tricycle to Old Sagay Port.
The ride takes about 15 minutes.
3. Boat to Carbin Reef:
At Old Sagay Port, register at the Tourism Information Office and pay the necessary entrance fees.
Hire a boat to take you to Carbin Reef, which takes about 15 minutes.
FROM DUMAGUETE CITY
1. Bus to Bacolod City:
Head to the Dumaguete Ceres Bus Terminal.
Board a Ceres Liner bus bound for Bacolod City. Ensure the bus passes through Sagay; inquire with the staff before boarding.
2. Bus to Sagay City:
If the bus doesn’t pass through Sagay, alight at San Carlos City and transfer to a Sagay-bound bus.
The combined travel time from Dumaguete to Sagay is approximately 8 hours, with total fares around PHP 200.
